Watery eyes

Hi everyone,

has anyone else ever had watery eyes with chemo? I am due to get my 3rd session on Friday but over the last week or so I wake up with my eyes all swollen and crusty.   My eyes water throughout the day (a lot).  I read this can be chemo related but wondered if anyone had this and what did you use to help thanks 

  • I'm sorry to hear about the side effects you're experiencing from your chemo Leanne.

    As you've mentioned in your post, chemo can cause changes in the eye, including watery eyes, and I hope the information and tips provided on this webpage will help make this more manageable.

    Hi I had very dry eyes with my chemo was told to use eye drops just dry eye ones from chemist, now on immunotherapy and get very watery eyes and runny nose. I still use eye drops about 5 times a day, it helps.

    Hi there 

    thanks for replying! It’s watery eyes I have whixh can sometimes go a bit gritty at night! I’m getting some drops tomorrow from the ward tomorrow when I go in! Hopefully that helps!!!
