It mentions that there is currently not enough evidence to say that any type of mushroom can prevent or cure cancer. Most of these supplements have not been tested to find out if they interact with medicines, foods, or other herbs and supplements so it's always best to make your medical team aware that you are considering taking these and double checking with them that it is safe for you to do so and that they would not interact with other medication you might be taking.

Thanks for reply. I've asked my medical team and same response. They are against most supplements though. 

Hello there , I had bilateral mastectomies and chemo . Checked with consultant about supplements and she was quite happy for me to take them . I finished treatment 4 months ago and take Vit D, Glucosamine, Omega 3,Selenium and Turkey Tail mushroom capsules . Check them out with your team x

Thanks for reply glad to hear your consultant was happy for you to take supplements. Everyone I've come into contact with say no don't take them... I've read up on lots of studies with mushroom supplement and all positive. I take multivitamins and minerals supplement everyday, and I'm now thinking about taking mushroom supplement too.
