Hello to All

Hello everyone, myname is Michael and Iam living in the northern part of Calif. wine country. Iam 70 years old witha birthday in Aug. As to my cancer, we Iam told I have cancer in my upper back, bone cancer, prostrate cancer, lung cancer and a brain tumor. The outcome, I was told that I have 1 to 1 1/2 years to live, this was 3 years and 4 months ago and I feel pretty damn good. I just finished a 2 year run with Keytruda and I belive this drug has gotten me to where iam now, Good Stuff!!

I was wondering if there were others in Calif. or others who have taken or are now taking Kaytruda and how is it working for then? I dont go anywhere and have very few friends left so iam always open to chat and make new friends. Michael

  • Hey 707Floyd,

I noticed you haven't had a reply just yet so I just wanted to stop by to welcome you back to the forum and let you know your post has been seen.

I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis Floyd although I'm so pleased to see how effective your treatment has been and that you're feeling so well in yourself.

I'm not sure if any of our members are based in your part of the world but if anyone has had Keytruda as part of their cancer treatment I'm sure they will stop by to share their experiences with you when they can.

You're also welcome to reach out to others on any discussions of interest you come across when using the 'search forum' option in the purple bar above.

I look forward to seeing you around the forum Floyd and wish you all the best for the future.

  • Hello there Michael, just wanted to say welcome and what great news that you're in such good spirits and feeling well. Long may it continue!

  • Thank You for your comment. Would love to hear more about you and what brings you here?

  • Very welcome - I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer in February. It was caught through routine screening so very grateful for that and I will finish treatment first week of June (radiotherapy). Sounds like you've had an excellent response to treatment and I know experiences like yours give people hope, which is just what you need in the early days.
