Pain medication not working. This is really hard

Hello, I have had my pain medication increased but it's not working, really low, I just which I hadn't had the radiotherapy but I can't do anything like I used to.

I am not working and the way I am I don't know when I will go back to work, this so hard.

have you tried codeine and paracetamol ?
If I'm ever in bad pain this usually helps maybe speak to your gp first as these are strong .

Hello, thank you for the reply, unfortunately the painkillers you recommend aren't strong enough, I have contacted my nurse to see what more can be done, I am trying to be more positive, again thank you for caring x

Hi Emiliejo,
I am so sorry to hear that your pain meds are not controlling your pain. I see that you have contacted your nurse to see if she can do any more to help you and I sincerely hope that she can. It's hard going, but remember that it doesn't last forever.
