I'm a 65 year old man who has had PC for the last fourteen months. My PSA score was 3684.
I tad high you would think. I was given six months and that was nearly a year and half ago. PC has spread to my bones and I've been told there is no cure. I'm a very positive person and this has helped me get through it. I take suplements and have changed my diet dramactically which I think has helped. I'm on hormone treatment but I think its now time for another treatment. My PSA was down to .25 after starting treatment (Zoladex) but is now steadily climbing again up to 75. Still alot lower than 3684.. They have now offered me Chemo but I am going to refuse it. Staying positive and seeking out people to help me through this has been a journey. My wife of 43 years has stage three Breast Cancer so we have been fighting this together. Without her help and research I would probably be dead now. The reason for the letter was no matter what you have, try and stay positive.
