Oh yeah. Forgot. While all this has been going on. Getting used to taking tablets again after 12 years and having pain and burning sensation in my boob xx
e2 weeks but it took mnon. i had anal cancer, but it was the recvery that did me. the doctors and nurses were fantastic and were always smiling. had to go to hospitakiasl 5 days a week for 12 weeks from 7am till 5pm. i used to sing and dance in the theatre, gone are the days.
what did /or do in life,if you don't mind me asking?
Family and friends often look at this like any other operation you have, where you go into hospital and come out better. They don't always appreciate all the other things that accompany it, or how much is going on in a very short peiod of time. I am sorry to hear that you suffered an itchy rash for a week after radiotherapy. Here's hoping that your periods are not as heavy and painful as they were previously.
The pain in your boob should eventually settle. Unfortunately, the fear of recurrence is something that we all have to live with and we all deal with this in our own way. Having had 2 bouts myself, it took me some time to come to terms with this possibly happening again.
All I can say, is that you are stronger than you think you are and you will get through this.
Most of us get quite frustrated by friends and family feeling like this. Fortunately, that's where a forum like this comes in. It is often much easier to talk to strangers, who have been through what you are going through and really understand how you are feeling, through their own experience.
fri who have had various illnesses and I've always said them. I can't understand what your going through as I've not been through it myself. But what I can do is listen no body knows what goes on in somebody's head xx
once again I am laying here waiting for sleep to come again. I go to sleep after a while for a few hours then I wake up and have to go through it all again. While awake my mind starts thinking about anything and everything. I'm lucky enough not to have to work so atleast I can sleep during the days. Got to see my oncologist in a few weeks and doctor a couple of weeks after that so will see if any one of the two can give me some advice xxxx
