Sore bum from constant diarrhea

Any recommendations to ease husbands sore bum from constantly having to go to the loo and pressure from bowel tumour? 
Are the memory ring foam pillows and good or a good barrier cream? . I'm going to order some pull up nappy things just in case on Amazon any recommendations on brands etc?

    I have used nappy cream at times for a sore bottom, sudacreme is good available everywhere, Pooh on nappy type pants needs changing  asap as it can burn the sore skin. They are great to keep loose stools from leaking everywhere especially at night, you could use the disposable baby changing mats on the bed, they are a good size and waterproof.

    Hi Sweetpotato66, I recommended Metanium to my mother-in-law for same problem. Cleared it up very well.

    I would highly recommend using two thick maternity pads in a "V" shape within the boxer shorts as an alternative to a nappy.

    (I found this to be a little less degrading, especially when being reduced to involuntary accidents)

    Also suggest putting a 5p size of Zerobase cream onto toilet paper before wiping. It not only cools down the area but helps clean the diahorrea easily and is gentle on the skin. Once clean & fresh, gently pat a further 5p size of cream around the bottom as a protective layer and moisturiser.

    Try Imodium Melts as an alternative, seem to work better than the standard capsules. Avoid dairy products & high fibre foods till the diahorrea settles also.

    Once your husband is past the diarrhoea(which he will) I would swap the Zerobase cream for Aloe Vera for its healing properties.

    That's fab advice! Did the pads absorb runny poo ok just worried might slip out a bit ? Ordered some pull ups today but thing the pads will be less embarrassing for him - it's all so new so struggling with it. X

    I wouldn't say absorb would be the right word, the idea is more to provide an opportunity to allow time to get to the toilet with back up to keep any deposits within the make shift underwear till you are close to toilet & shower! It's not a long term solution but reasonably comfortable and will offer a little more confidence to move around the house till the diahorrea stops.

    Its a horrible situation to be in but it does pass.
