Hello!
I'm a 31 year old female and I got diagnosed with a high grade sarcoma in October and had it removed the same month. They said they got it all out with margins but they were small. It was on the back of my left shoulder, round where the scapula is.
I'm now going through radiotherapy and have had seven out of thirty sessions and I'm trying to decide if she is the things I'm experiencing right now are side effects of radiotherapy or just something else
I currently work full time in a laboratory and I'm a carer for my mum (she has advanced MS) and I'm not sure if this tiredness I'm feeling is due to that or the radiotherapy - I'm up at 5am to get into work and I leave at 3:30 or 4:30 most days depending on what time my radiotherapy appointment is. I do go to bed quite late 10-11 but I also struggle to sleep.
Other things I've been getting is a sore throat and pain in the area being radiated. I'm wondering if the sore throat and tiredness is due to the radiation - it's so hard to get information about side effects for shoulder radiotherapy as most are about other areas of the body
I'm really sorry if none of that makes any sense. I'm really tired, haha
