I had a lunpectomy sentil node , had one positive node so then had another operation and all other nodes were fully clear so try not to worry this don't mean on the 2 nd operstion that they will all be positive I did not have chemo I had the Oncotype test which come back so low chemo was not required it would have done more harm than good 

how many positive sentil nodes ?

hy Laura...maybe 4 they were very sketchy on the exact amount.  but ill get full story hopefully next week wen I see consultant.  she was on holiday this week coz her kids on school hols

try to stay very positive I was in total shock that day too did they say they were doing a full lymph node removal auxiliary node clearance ? That's the 2 nd operstion I had done ? 
I had clear margins but still had the 2 nd operation tey not to worry as although sentil node positive my actual lymph nodes were clear so this could well happen for you my lovely love Lara ️

well I guess its coz im a senior lady that I ddnt take much of the info in at the time I was having my 3rd seroma syringed and she just dropped this bombshell on me..... so I had an app with breast nurse yday . but there were more Q from me and not enough positive answers from B nurse. so I've now got an appointment with consultant next week.  despite already being sent letter of appointment for post op check 27th Feb. 

its all too fast ...im only just recovering 3weeks post op 26th January. 

tell u more news after app with consultant.

well that's not so professional giving you that info as in half a story whilst getting your Seroma drained 

it would have been good if your consultant had given you the full story as bits of info not explained makes us panick 

I hope you get all the information and it all explains on your next appointment in the meantime hope you have a speedy recovery
