Anastrozole side effects

Hello, I started Anastrozole 5 days ago and to be honest I was expecting some horrible side effects but apart from feeling tired and dizzy on the first day I have little to no side effects at all. I am a little tired and get a slight fuzzy headache from time to time but I feel well. Does it take awhile for the side effects to kick in and which ones wre likely to emerge?

    I think most people who have experience with this medication would give you slightly different stories of their experiences. 

    For some, side effects are manageable, for others they impact their daily lives much more significantly and for others, they barely notice the change. Some may side that their side effects crept in gradually over the space of days, weeks or months. For others those side effects arrived swiftly and all at once. 

    It's good to hear that so far you're managing well on this medication. If things continue as they are then it's probably worth trying to get the same brand of anastrozole with your next prescription as some people find that they can tolerate some brands better than others.

    Hello midgemo 

    o have started tamoxifen in early nov 

    I have found no affects at all they are great aD I did worry prior however I did  have a different brand last month after a few days I had insomnia felt low I on my took these for a few days went back to my doctor explained this now it's requested I get the brand I'm used to in which no side affects noticed . It was strange as the side affects were instant within a day of taking

    Thanks Lara I hope that I dontvget many side effects.  I'm feeling a bit under the weather today but hopefully itvwill pass. Stay well and stay strong.
