Prescriptions?

Can the pharmacist at the hospital give our prescriptions for a urine infection or will I have to go to my GP?

  • I doubt it. You will need someone to test your urine to ensure you have a UTI before a prescription can be given. That's something pharmacists can't do although it wouldn't surprise me if the Government don't add it to their role to try ease some of the workload on GPs and A&E.
