Deodorants

hi all

what deodorants do people use not been told any i can or cant aviod

  • Hello lady_penelope,

I am not sure there is any particular deodorant you need to avoid after having breast cancer treatment - I certainly could not find any information which would prove that they cause any harm. For peace of mind, I would perhaps double check with your cancer nurse or your GP or you are also welcome to give our nurses a call on this free number 0808 800 4040 - their line is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. They will be happy I am sure to tell you more about this.

I hope others will be along shortly and share with you the types of deodorant they use and that they find works best for them.

    Best wishes,

  • Hi

I am just having 5 days radiotherapy, the radiotherapists said I should use deoderant with out alumininum, I used Dove. I also used an unperfumed body wash in the shower. I didnt wash my hair in the shower I did it in the bath after I had dressed. Just to keep any unnessecary substances away from the treatment area.
