advise needed

I have a patient who has cancer of the breast with metastasis, she has a 2 year old daughter. This lady is struggling in pain and has no means of child care, her husband needs to work to keep them above water. She is in desperate need of help at home especially with her daughter, she is so tired and struggling. Is there any reason why she couldnt get free childcare?

    A very warm welcome to our forum. 

    I am sorry that I cannot answer your question directly. Most hospitals have a cancer information area, where they can advise on what help is available. Macmillan and Breast Cancer Care should also be able to help, as should her local Citizen's Advice Bureau. Does she already receive benefits because of her cancer? If not, she should be doing.
