Thank you

I joined this site while my son was undergoing treatment for tonsil and neck cancer. He went through so much during the treatment, we had so many tears, and then so much laughter because sometimes it was better to laugh than cry. I am happy and proud to report that 14 months after treatment finished, he is back working full time, and picking up his life again. I posted several times here when I didn't know how we were going to get through it, and I had so much help and support, so thank you very much, all of you x

  • Hello Peakay,

Thank you so much for taking the trouble to come here and share the fantastic news that your son is now back to working full time and starting a normal life again after everything he bravely went through.

You are right when you say that when going through a cancer journey with a loved one, you share so many tears but also laughter and that sometimes laughter brings you comfort and at other times you just need to cry. This is something many of our members will be able to relate to I am sure.

I am so pleased to hear that this forum gave you support and help at a time when you needed it the most. It's so nice of you to share this with us and I just wanted you to know that we are there for you anytime you need to talk to others who understand what you've been through.

We wish you and your son the very best and I hope that he is enjoying his job, having fun and making the most of life,

    Best wishes,
