Had operation to remove gallbladder 8 weeks ago, now told I need 6 months of chemotherapy.. tumour was picked up on follow up scan as I had colorectal cancer 2 years ago.. struggling as don't think I'll cope
I am so sorry to hear that you have found a new cancer following your fgall bladder op. This is something that we all dread once we have had a cancer diagnosis. I have had 2 bouts of breast cancer and know just how hard it was to hear the second diagnosis.
I suspect that, like most of us, you are looking at the bigger picture, which never helps. Try going through things day by day and you will find this easier. It's amazing what we can do when our back is up against the wall. Nobody wants to do this, but you will get the strength to see it through. Can I ask what treatment you had last time? I hope that you are healing well after your operation. When are you planning to start chemo?
