Nudging/poking sensation in my back

Hi

I was diagnosed with TNBC in May and have since had 12 weeks of Paclitaxel chemotherapy and have just started EC. I had my first sessions over a week ago. Since around my 3rd/4th session of Paclitaxel I've had a strange nudging/poking sensation in my back. Mainly around the spine area, sometimes around where bra strap sits and sometimes a bit lower. I can mainly feel it when I sit down and my back is resting again the chair. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Thanks. x

  • I'm sorry about the strange sensation you've been having in your back since your 3rd/4th session of Paclitaxel.

I know this must be worrying but hopefully it will subside now that you've finished that course of chemo, however, if it persists, or gets worse, do be sure to let your GP or cancer team know.

Hopefully some of our members will share their experiences with you soon as well but if you'd like to discuss this with one of our cancer nurses, they're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.

We'll have our fingers crossed this improves soon and all goes well with your EC.

    Kind regards,
