Does anyone have any advice to help deal with the swelling from steroids for brain tumour? Know there's probably not much apart from coming off steroids but it's not feasible - anyone had anything that worked?
I'm on Dexamethasone, 8mg x 3 before the treatment, and after, 8mg x 3...plus I have to have 2mg in a saline drip during the treatment as I'm allergic to the Docetaxel. My face is very swollen now, I'm getting swollen legs, but that may just be water retention - also a common side-effect. I don't think there is anything you can do, but accept it's a side-effect that will go away after treatment. Hang in there!!
