Oesophageal and pancreatic survivor

My mum survived pancreatic cancer 5 years ago and oesophageal cancer 3 years ago. To us she is a walking miracle and we are so grateful to have her still with us. However she has had life changing complications post surgery including daily vomiting, choking and episodes similar to the onset of a diabetic episode (she does not have diabetes). Due to the rarity of her case the doctors are struggling to help - does anyone have any experience or similar side effects please?

I'm so glad that your mum survived pancreatic cancer 5 years ago and oesophageal cancer 3 years ago, these positive stories bring a lot of hope for everyone here. That being said, I'm sorry to hear that she's dealing with some aftermath discomfort and that her doctors are struggling to help.
Fingers crossed some members who have dealt with something similar will be here shortly to offer suggestions.
The other thing I wanted to mention is that we have a page on our website with some tips on how to cope with possible side effects of cancer treatment, have a read if you can spare a few minutes and maybe this will help a little.
I hope all goes well for your mum and that these symptoms will soon be a thing of the past.
