After 4 years of hormone treatment, supported by 37x Radiotherapy shots, they've finally decided to give me 6x cycles of chemotherapy, Docetaxel and Prednisolone.

I think the theory is that the hormones have been suppressing the cancer cells, but they are still lurking in the bunker that is my prostate plotting mmy downfall, and they want to give them a more comprehensive seeing-to. 

Apparently if the bunker isn't fully breached, I can stay on the hormones and they'll give me another shot of chemo in 5 to 10 years time if I need it.

Anyway, my blog (there's a clue in my group name) is updated to reflect the chemo experience so far...
