Sabr for secondary lung cancer

Hi, I have anal cancer that has spread to my lungs and was diagnosed stage 4 two and a half years ago, I've had chemotherapy up until it stopped working 12 months ago. I may now have the option of sabr radiotherapy to the tumours in my lungs, depending on the results of my PET scan today. Has anyone else had sabr to the lung for metastasis not primary lung cancer and if so what were the side effects and more importantly the results

  • I'm sorry to hear your chemo stopped working Jules but I'm glad to hear SABR radiotherapy may be an option.

    We have some information about SABR on our website but hopefully some of our members who have had this treatment for secondary lung cancer will be along to share their experiences and advice.
