Scalp care after hair loss

Hi, I'm due my 2nd EC this week and my hair is falling out quite badly now. I'm going to hairdressers to shave it off but would like advice on what to use for taking care of my scalp. I have bought numerous head coverings, but it's the looking after my scalp that is worrying me. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hello. I bought some 'Childs Farm' shampoo from Amazon. It is very gentle on the scalp and I am still using it now all my hair has grown back. I also splashed out on some satin pillow cases because I found that my cotton ones were a little bit rough on my shaven head. Violet.

Hi Violet Thank you for the prompt reply I will get some ordered and try it. Do you use a moisturiser at all on the scalp? Sue

No Sue, I never used any moisturiser, just the shampoo. Also, if you dye your hair, I would wait 6 or 7 months after the chemo. Violet.
