I came on this site a few seeks ago ,newly diagnosed with a thymoma.I know its a rare cancer but there must be someone on here who wants a friendly chat.Im 65 years old and was diagnosed last July but only just starting treatment in the next few weeks. Its been a really worrying time having no one to talk to.My thymoma is 7.4x6.6x4.3 cm.I have to have it removed but don't know if it will be robotic or a sternotomy.my mind is all over the place. If someone has come through the other side and can talk about it I would really like to know what to expect from a patients perspective.please post on here I promise I'm friendly.
