Xelox for bile duct cancer - rectal bleeding

Hi 

I'm on cycle two of Xelox (gem cis abandoned due to growth of new liver legions after scan at four cycles) and I have had a couple of episodes of rectal bleeding today following passing of small stools. Quite a lot of bright red blood. 
I've had the pins and needles in hands, face and mouth/throat with non warm drinks but wondered if anyone has had the bleeding? 
surgery has been ruled out due to new legions / I'm 46 and the chemo is classed as palliative.

    Bleeding is a common side effects of having Xelox treatment. You can read more about this here. If you have an side effects that you're concerned about you should speak to your doctor, if you haven't already. They'll be able to give the best advice.
