Has anyone else had leg and back pain after finishing xelox?

Hi 

Just wondering if anyone else had suffered with leg and back pain after finishing chemo xelox. I finished treatment 3 weeks ago, which I know is not long ago but thought my symptoms would be going but they just seem to be getting worse if anything. My oncologist has said this wasn't a common side effect but my body my just be reacting differently. My gp has said it could be due to the radiotherapy I had 9 months ago or my LARS surgery 5 months ago. So just wondering other people's experiences as I don't know if its down to the chemo or just the combination of treatments I've had.

    I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling with some pain following the end of your treatment.

    The pain that you've described isn't a know side effect of xelox but it sounds as if your body has been through a lot over the past 9+ months so it may explain some of the problems that you're dealing with at the moment. 

    It's still very early days in the process of recovery and healing and I do hope that things settle and improve for you soon.
