im kind of in the same position as you. Again, long story short, I found some lumps in my breast, had a mammogram last Thursday had a letter the next day 1st class & have an appointment with a breast cancer surgeon next Weds 15th  for results & maybe an ultrasound & biopsy depending on what the mammogram says. How I'm going to get to next weds without losing my head completely I don't know. I'm trying to be positive that it's just cysts as I started HRT 6 months ago and I'm hoping it's because of the influx of hormones in my body that the HRT is giving me but can't help think the worst at times. I'm more worried about everyone else in my family dealing with it rather than me. I'm sure we can get through it but you can't help but worry xx
