I've had core biopsy done twice, now I have an appt with a consultant. I'm very worried about this. Would you get an appointment with consultant if it was not bad news? Please help I'm so scared.
I am sorry to hear that you are feeling this way. It is usual to be called back to see your consultant about 1-2 weeks after you have had a biopsy. Some consultants have been phoning or writing to their patients with their results during Covid, but most prefer to give results in person, regardless of the outcome.

I am so very sorry to hear this. Do you know what type of cancer you have, or what sort of treatment is planned?
Breast cancer is one of the more treatable forms of cancer nowadays. I myself have had 2 bouts in the past 12 years and I am still living a busy and fulfilled life.

It's hard to take it in and accept that you've got it. You will probaly find that you are angry one minute and in denial the next. I hope that you have good support from family and friends. Have they said when you will get your MRI?
You have a trying few months ahead of you, but you'll get there.
