I am sorry to hear of your symptoms. It is always a worry when you are waiting for your appointment, as there are so many unknowns to deal with. Do you have a date for your appointment yet? You will usually be seen at the breast clinic within 2 weeks from referral.
We all tend to panic at the thought of cancer. There are several different types of breast cancer, all at different stages and grades. You will feel better in yourself once you know exactly what you are dealing with. I hope that you are getting plenty of support from Karl, as you need it at this stage. Whatever you do, try to avoid going on to google, as this will only scare you further. Much of the information is poorly researched, out of date and aimed at the most spectacular cases.
