Ready scared postmenopausal spotting

Hi all, I've been reading some of the posts.

Since last Weds I have been having some vaginal blood on my tissue after urinating.

Its worse in the mornings. I am 64. Doctor has referred me to a Specialist and said that I will hopefully get an appointment within two weeks. I suffer from Anxiety anyway. So am really scared and feel so alone.

    All of us here who have been in your position will completely understand the fear when we know something isn’t right but we don’t know what it is. You have done the best thing you can by seeing a doctor to be referred to a specialist, and hopefully you won’t have to wait too long for your appointment. Try not to let your thoughts run away with themselves at this stage, as there could well be an explanation which isn’t as serious as cancer. Please use the forum for support if you need it-many ladies will have been in this position, and it may help you feel less alone. x

    Much appreciated. I am trying to stay positive.

    But as you are so aware, its difficult.

    Best thing is to keep those positive thoughts until you hear anything different! But I understand how hard that is, and how scary it is for you now. I hope your appointment will have a less serious outcome than cancer and do keep in touch. xx
