Hello

Hi.

I have no idea where or how to start talking about this. Yesterday I had a skin biopsy on my leg as the specialist thinks it's likely that my lesion is Squamous Cell Carcinoma.  I have no idea how I'm feeling and I forgot evrything she said.  So thought I'd pop on here and see how others have coped and any advice they could pass on ?

Thanks for taking the time to read this. x

  • Hi sarha1980,

Welcome to Cancer Chat. I know it's never easy when there is this uncertainty and waiting tor answers, so I can imagine it must all feel a bit difficult at the moment. Hopefully it won't be long to wait before you get the results. In the meantime if you think of any questions, make a note so you're ready to discuss things at your next appointment - and you can also take a pen and paper to write things down then too, as it's easy to forget things.

If you haven't already, do have a browse or search of the forum for other potentially relevant discussions. Otherwise, hopefully others will be along soon, especially if they have similar experience to share.

    Wishing you all the best,

    Ben
