After an ultrasound 2years ago Doc said I had a thickening of my womb sent me for scan. I had no bleeding only niggly pain in side., because I was also due a smear test the doctor at the hospital  said he would do the smear first and since he was in there take the biopsy (which to say the least was very painful)  he then done internal scan and said if he had done the scan first he would not have bothered with biopsy and that if the sample was not  big enough he would not bother with doing it again.

A couple weeks later got an appointment to go back where he said sample was not big enough he continued with another scan and said He was going to do another biopsy  I reminded him of what he said his answer was if the scan was like it was that day he would definitely do biopsy so another painful  episode although this time I knew what I was in for  which made it a bit easier I also ask for local anesthetic ( thank goodness for the internet)

I got no results and just thought no news is good news and next time I was at doctors I ask about results apparently they had received a letter and that hospital reckons I have Fibroid so I was happy with this .

Fast forward 2 years started having pain in right side then moved to my  back and left side when to the doctor antibiotics thought might have kidney infection  worked treat for a few days then pain started to come back again now 2 days later have bleeding and painful cramps  I am 59 no period for 17 years so am now very worried  thinking the worse! telephone appointment with doc says appointment for exam & bloods and also back to hospital
