Im waiting on breast biopsy results, i get them on monday, the waiting is just dreadful, sometimes your gut feeling tells you what you know but this time i just dont know! Anyone feel or felt the same?
Personally, I think that if they have told you they are suspicious that it's better to prepare yourself just in case, it also remember they don't always get it right and you'll only know for sure on Tuesday. I knew mine was cancer, but again, others have felt that way and been given the all clear. It's just so hard waiting and so I'm so glad you don't have too long to wait. What age range are you? You don't have to answer that of course, but I totally understand that the connection in age with you and your mother would be an additional concern for you. I'm sorry to hear that, my dad passed of cancer when I was a teen and so I know how hard that can be. Morning Debbie, how was your meal and drinkies? Most important to enjoy this time. You're right whatever it is, you will be fine, hopefully benign, but if not highly treatable. 2cm is the estimated size of my lump, but one of the clusters of DCIS is over double that. I was quite shocked when they told me that around 50 meant that they weren't so interested in family cancer history because 'it's a high risk age group anyway' - having said that at every apt they still want my family history and give a 'knowing sigh' when I tell them?? Its bruised but not as bad as i thought it would be, still swelled i want to see what its like under the dressing just see old blood dont know how big the wound is either, its hard to say, its tender and sometimes a dull ache
