Im waiting on breast biopsy results, i get them on monday, the waiting is just dreadful, sometimes your gut feeling tells you what you know but this time i just dont know! Anyone feel or felt the same?
A very warm welcome to our forum. I have had 2 bouts of breast cancer in the past 12 years, plus a few false alarms, so I have been through a number of biopsies. All I can say, is that the wait never gets any easier. Most of us would say that this is one of the worst parts of our cancer journey, as thereare so many unknowns and uncertainties.
I am glad to hear that you don't have much longer to wait. Try to keep yourself occupied with other distractions to help the time to pass a little quicker over the weekend.

Fingers crossed that you are able to get some information for the nurse today and that progress has been made. I can imagine how frustrating it is for you! I am not a paitent person and I like to just get on with things. Although I am not sure in this siutation that I'll be able too even when I know the diagnosis.
In my area we have a separate app My Medical Record that's different to the NHS app so all letters, appointments and results are uploaded there. It's very useful as it meant I could go back on and see my clinic letter from January.

I went for the back fastening ones pack of 2 primark white and pink, i got the pyjamas, pack of 2 pants, and the 2 pack of socks, love the socks so soft and cozy, the pyjamas are nice and comfy went for the pj bottoms and sleeveless top v at the ftont and back then went back and bought the pj top with the buttons but looks nice with the top underneath and leave the pj top open so its like a 3 piece, the bras are really soft not the most flattering cause there is no under wire lol but a nice tight fit so you actually get a nice cleavage lol, its the range that supports breast cancer awareness not expensive at all, and everything is just so comfy i think I'll go for the matching dressing gown too lol

I'm waiting on biopsy results and have found this thread so encouraging to read!
I had a biopsy due to nipple bleeding and when they did the ultrasound they found a lump, I'm really struggling with the waiting but have found reading this had helped a lot!!

They said upto 10 days, I had my biopsy on Thursday so still awhile yet. I've kind of persuaded myself it will be bad news, but feel like it will then be easier to hear whatever the results!
I think I've seen you've got surgery coming up?? Really hope you're okay and the wait isn't too long xxx
Hi there, hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised, is it a lump you had biopsied ? Any specific reason you are thinking the worst? Most are benign, so fingers crossed for you, there's been a lot of positives on this site lately. thank you, it's been a long wait and I just need to move this journey to the next stage, however difficult that is - hugs Mickey x
Yes it was a lump, just how the nurses/doctors were, they were supposed by the biopsy and said they didn't expect the lump not to change shape or something? I'm sure it will be benign!
Morning, I think sometimes a lot of lumps look suspicious on ultrasound and if they don't really move that is something they note. As I'm learning though, this doesn't mean anything for sure, my lump did move a little and was not the shape they expected but turned out to be a rare form of cancer. Others, as I've said before mimic cancer bit turn out to be benign. As I was told, it's not cancer until they say it is and mostly they aren't. Keeping everything crossed for you.

Thanks mickey xx I hope you're ok and not stressing too much, a lot easier said than done!! I'm not worried so much about the results as my lump is so small, it's just the waiting I can't stand. What will be will be it's just so nerve wracking. I hope you're ok. I've been listening to the headspace app and found it very relaxing maybe something like that would help you to relax too xx
Thanks Debbie, I'm glad the headspace app is helping you. Do you have far to go for your apt? I find exercise and music help, just having a bit of a dip day, but fortunately tomorrow is a new one and so start afresh x that's the beauty x I'm glad you're in a good place for your results, that's really positive, thinking of you xx
