Im waiting on breast biopsy results, i get them on monday, the waiting is just dreadful, sometimes your gut feeling tells you what you know but this time i just dont know! Anyone feel or felt the same?
I got to Edinburgh and the nurse phoned me that the results from the biopsies were fine, i didnt have to attend the clinic as staff been sent home ill who perform procedures, the nurse phoning me in a couple of days they want more biopsies so when i go back in its for a stereotactic breast biopsy, so even though the news is good for today's results theres obviously something they want checked, be waiting again lol nice lunch though lol
Awwww bless , so glad it was hopeful today xx and lunch was great xxx fingers crossed for you going through more tests, and they are also good news for u...they checked mine, had me in within few days 3 after covid test and isolation, I was heavily sedated because of my heart....excisional biopsy and needle biopsy under arm too
So so glad to find this chat. I too had a recent breast biopsy -mine was on Wednesday 8 th Sept for the first time and am going back on 15 th for result. Pretty scared. Hope the fact it's a 7 day turnaround doesn't suggest it's bad news , especially as I got 2 titanium clips in. I'm terrified as lost my sister to (lung) cancer 3 yrs ago and have not really any family near me. Retired at start of pandemic and I know I'm lucky that I got such a quick response via gp. Trying to stay positive. It feels so surreal at the moment .
