Hello, I was treated for DCIS in summer 2019 with lumpectomy and radiotherapy. My recent surveillance mammogram revealed changes and my biopsies came back showing a recurrence of the DCIS. As i have already received radiotherapy, this time I must have a mastectomy which is booked for the end of this month. I will also have a sentinel node biopsy. These forums provided me with great support two years ago, so I thought I’d say hello this time. Any post operative advice to make recovery easier whould be much appreciated.
