DIEP

Hello peeps, I am day 12 days post op from having a left side DIEP (previously mastectomy and lymph node clearance 2019) hot Her2 positive, bc,my question is is it normal to feel like the new boob being uncomfortable, I have lymphoedema in my left arm and is very uncomfortable I spend every day in tears also struggling with wearing the binder any advice would be greatly appreciated I am back to hospital on wed for dressings to be removed

    I'm sorry about the uncomfortable feeling you've been experiencing in your new breast since having your DIEP. I know you're back at the hospital today so I hope they're able to answer your questions about this and help you resolve the issues you've been having with the binder but I just wanted to put you in touch with one of our very friendly and helpful members of the community, [@Jolamine]‍, as she has been living with lymphoedema for quite some time now, and may be able to give you some valuable information and advice on how to manage this.
