Neutopenic sepsis query

Hi all

I have just finished my last round of chemo and all was very good.Until 2 weeks after i became unwell & hospitalised.

They told me i had neutopenic sepsis and white cells where ectremely low. I had IV anti bs and just home yesterday.

No one has informed me but do i need to avoid certain foods with live bacteria & cultures, is there a special diet etc??

Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to hear of your difficulties. I would suggest trying to speak to your doctor about this if you can, just to be sure that you have the information that's appropriate and specific to you.
