Hi hun, you are in the best hands, my sister went through what you are going through. Honestly feel reassured that the hospital know what they are doing, and the answer to your question is yes you can go private to get a mammogram done. My sister was anxious as you are when she was told they were going to do her mammogram every 3 year. She took her self private every year until her next mammogram with the nhs. I think it is the anxiety of not knowing what can happen which is all normal emotions to go through after what you have been through. thank you so much for replying back, it's made me feel so much better. My final 5 year mammogram results came today, and they are all clear!! :grin:  I will definitely go private until I'm due for my 3 year mammogram. I think it will definitely stop me stressing, and if anything is picked up at least I've caught it early. Thank you for putting my mind at rest. It's so lovely of you to reply back.
