Hi my name is James and I am a 25 year old Male. I suffer 24/7 from extreme fatigue and weakness (not normal fatigue) to the point where my body is numb and i have no adraline or emotions in my body. I am now completely intolerant to alcohol/cigerettes due to my condition. No matter how much i sleep do not feel refreshed. I have intense head confusion and i am always dizzy. My ears and nose is clogged/blocked with no relief. I have no appetite or thirst at all which is not normal for me and can only get in one small meal a day now as belly gets bloated/indigestion. I do not get erection anymore and private area feels cold/numb. I have poor night vision where is i do go out at evening i am defo have a bad reaction where may possible drop. I feel like i am in complete survival mode and on my last days. I feel awful every single day I do not know what to do. Please guys what can i do next in terms of tests as there must be more i can do as this is not normal. I know i have a good workup but cancer can be anywhere in body and from what i have read my symptoms are off last stage cancer. Sorry if i offended anyone and thanks in advance.

  • When I see the oncologist, she will order more tests I'm sure. Did you ask to be referred to an oncologist? My chest CT scan was done just 3 months ago and the chest x ray was done just a month ago so yeah I'm also concerned about radiation as well. James, were you having a lot of stress before getting sick?

  • No I will ask my gp on monday if not i will look for a private one. Yh similar with me all done in the last 3 months. Yeah I went through an intense breakup but i have had worser stress in the past and i have never felt like this. Also i have way too many symptoms i would say around 20 or even more. What about you?

  • My backstory. I had a punch biopsy (Nov 11th, 2019) on the second digit of my left foot to rule out subungual melanoma (had a dark nail line). The result came back negative but it might be a false negative since it was a punch biopsy instead of an excisional biopsy. I should have done some research before getting the biopsy. I put my trust in the podiatrist. That was a mistake on my part.

I started getting sick around June or July of last year. I used to go walk or jog daily. One day, I got some chest pains while walking with a friend. However, I was fine walking the next day. A week later, the first significant symptom I noticed was, my right leg was weak to the point where I could not walk. Next day, the leg weakness went away, but my right foot started having these pins and needles sensation (mainly the first 2 digits and bottom of foot). Then I noticed the slightly enlarged right inguinal lymph node, then it became bilateral but they are kind of small, then the constant fever (ranging from 37.4 to 38.4), then the extreme fatigue/dizziness, lost of balance that doesn't go away with rest, then the unwanted weight lost due to having no appetite/nausea. Also, sometimes I would get random bone pains (phalanges of the fingers, toes etc). Since April of this year, I would get extremely tired whenever I'm eating so I can't eat much anymore. When I'm extremely weak, I will also have a lot of chest pains and palpitations. All of those symptoms have been going on since July of last year but recently it's gotten worst. I was able to drive myself to the clinic before but now I can't.

Some of the GPs think it's depression but it's not. I can easily prove that's it's not depression. I was depressed a few years back, but if I see a car coming and a child is playing in the street and is about to get hit by the car, i can run as fast as I could and try to save the child. NOW I CAN'T DO THAT EVEN IF I WANTED TO. I don't mean to sound rude but I think those GP are the lazy kind. It's so easy to say "it's depression/it's all in ur head" than to try and diagnosis you. But I know I do have have chronic stress (cos of my environment) but I'm not depressed at all. That and sleep deprivation. It could be chronic fatigue syndrome. Going to post some questions regarding the symptoms and what CFS sufferers go through on a daily basis. I think we might be suffering from CFS. The brain can only handle so much.

  • Thanks for sharing. I also have 2 bruised toes. it is defo not depression because depressed people can still do things, like you i could not do anything now. The car scenario you used if that was me now i would pass out. i have thought about CFS but is that going to give us difficulty breathing through nose, blocked ears, no appetite, poor night vision, dizziness, no energy even after eating, erectile dysfunction etc? I literally feel like i am struggling to stay alive.

  • Ur blood work is fine (unlike mine), so leukemia can can be ruled out me think. Bone cancer, u would need a bone scan (tracer is injected in ur vein to detect abnormalities). Bone marrow cancer (multiple myeloma), u would need the serum electrophoresis (SPEP) blood work to check for monoclonal gammopathy. Lymphomas don't show up in blood tests but usually u would have itching and night sweats if you have lymphoma.

  • Thanks for reply. I am going to ask for full body scan. The issue is my gp said it would've shown in ct scan however i read online most start in legs or arms so it will be hard to convince him. I will ask for a SPEP and other cancer marker tests that i have not done yet. I just do not know how much longer i can survive. Apart of me is happy all tests are negative but my quality of life is completing gone.

  • Dang, I also have difficult breathing (stuffed nose that comes so random at times), same with the stuffed ear (left ear for me for the most part). Sometimes I get this weird ringing sensation in my ears (slight lost of hearing when that happens). Same here, I don't have energy no matter what I drink or eat. I already had two IV fluid, and that did nothing for me. I asked for vitamins along with the IV fluid while I was in the ER, but the ER doctor told me, it's the same as drinking them so they didn't add any vitamins. I might try another IV fluid, this time with some vitamin Bs, among other vitamins, to see if it can make me feel any better. I have tried energy drinks that are full of vit Bs and that did nothing for me as well. I'm drinking nutritional drinks to help me stay alive rn. I also have ED (low testosterone levels) but the endocrinologist told me it's normal to have low T when you are ill.

  • yeah it is all 24/7 with no relief. That is a good idea that i have not tried so will go for the IV however i do drink high nutrient drinks. I just miss having that refreshing feeling. That is strange my testesterone levels are normal however completely exhausted after ejaculating and again feel like going to pass out. The thing that is weird is my doc is not suspecting cancer at all. Maybe we the unfortunate people that never get a diagonise until we end up been taking out. Honestly i am completely shocked that all my tests are normal and i know this sounds crazy but got to strange i wish they knew what was wrong with me. How is your vision? especially at night?

  • Yeah, definitely ask for those tumor marker tests. There s a bunch of them though.

I don't know if we can post links here? Hopefully I won't get banned or something.

I don't think I have the night vision problem but I don't go out at night anymore so I'm not sure. Kinda bedridden and unable to exercise or do any physical activities. Feels so drained after doing any small physical activity like cutting a pizza.

  • Thanks for the link.

omg i am the same i get tired from eating. my head feels so hollow and empty. What does your family think? because mine think i am crazy that i am still disturbing doc but this is not a way of living.
