Cancer and high blood platelets

I had a blood test done during to fast heart rate and high blood pressure and it has come back as high blood platelets  but now  I have need  a chest xray, a scan on my pelvis and uterus and I have to do a stool sample . I did the thing you should not do and Google what it meant . I am now worried as I get a bad side and looser stool every so often . Did anyone get diagnosed with anything when they had high blood platelets.

    I'm sorry to hear that you've had some health concerns recently. It's understandable that you're feeling anxious about things. Unfortunately, as you've already found, searching Google for information often adds to levels of anxiety and worry so I'd suggest giving it a wide berth for the moment. 

    It's good to hear that your symptoms are being investigated and hopefully you won't have to wait too long for an appointment. I'm sure they will be able to offer you some advice, information, and support whilst you're waiting on a diagnosis.
