FIT result

Had a text from my GP today to say that she wants to discuss the results of my FIT test and will ring me in the morning. She knows I suffer from acute health anxiety so of course I am worried sick. I am 62, I was diagnosed approx 10 years ago with widespread diverticular and a tortuous colon. My GP says my symptoms over the past years are very typicl of ibs - cramping, a mixture of constipation and diarrhoea more likely after meals. Otherwise I am fine, no blood when I go to the loo, no weight loss of anything. But I know I will have to have a colonoscopy. Need reassurance.
