Sorry to hear this. It has to be a personal choice but I would opt for chemotherapy. I have been on chemotherapy for a year now, I am not saying it is easy but the medication they give you will help with any side effects. The first few month I was fine, just a little tired and lost my hair but it soon grows really fast. Recently I changed chemo and has caused some sickness but the meds they give you stop the sickness ( I choose not to take them at the moment). And if you do have any side effects the nurses can lower your dose or give you something to stop the symptoms. Give it a go and remember, it's your body so you can always choose to discontinue. But if the chemotherapy helps then believe me it's really really worth it. Let me know how you get on. Best of luck hon. Claire

my son had invasive chemo twice. Didn't work. but left him with sepsis . terribly weak and sick and the cancer spread xx

Hi Celtlady. I decided against chemotherapy after the first one. Ended up in hospital with sepsis, burning itchy skin for 2 months plus the other side effects from that one dose. xx

my son had two lots of intensive c and he's been so I'll after it he had it for nothinghemo did not work the cancer spread..

your decision love but so sad it didn't work for my kad it's weakened him. terribly 

Thank you for your kind words. I've no family I lost my mam exactly a year ago today and lost my sister suddenly in June to pancreatic cancer. Not sure if I should ask for a social worker to help me xx
