Hello, I'm new to the forum. A lung mass on my lung was found accidentally whilst having checks on my bowel, had CT scan, US scans, colonoscopy, nothing so far in abdomen/bowel. Awaiting PET scan results now. I'm frantic with worry just wish more success stories on forum, they reassure me, perhaps not many success stories. Thanks and thinking of everyone on here.

Welcome to Cancer Chat. Firstly I hope it's not much longer for you to wait for your results and to get all the information you need. I know the uncertainty and the waiting is never easy.
Sometimes people who post on the forum while waiting for results don't always come back to post about their results, so that means the discussions on here can occasionally be a bit skewed.
As I say, hopefully you're able to find out more soon about this.

Hi Ciss,
A very warm welcome to our forum, although I'm sorry to hear that you are in the unenviable position of waiting for results. This is always a worrying time. Have you been given any indication of when to expect your results?
As Ben rightly says, success rates can be skewed, because not everyone returns to let us know their outcomes. Try to keep yourself busy while you are waiting and, steer clear of consulting 'Dr Google' until you know what you are dealing with.
