Hi everyone this is my first post. I lost my beloved husband of 50 years in February this year after his year long battle with stage 4 bowel cancer. There were more downs than ups but we had wonderful support from our family. The chemo was unsuccessful with spreads to other areas. He was always amazingly cheerful and positive, never complained or felt sorry for himself despite all the set backs etc. We were so lucky he passed away at home with his family by his side and wonderful nursing support. The reason I've now decided to post is to thank you all all out there with your own stories . Reading those has helped me no end especially since his passing. Just knowing there are others experiencing the same, the shock, sadness etc you experience you know you are not alone. Thank you so much for sharing and I send love and good wishes to you all.
