Cisplatin 45mg hair loss any information

Hi, I have cervical cancer, stage 3C, I'm due to start treatment soon, Radiotherapy, Brachytherapy and Chemotherapy, I will be receiving Cisplatin 40mg, could anyone tell me if you've had Cisplatin I'm really concerned about losing my hair even hair thinning as it will look unsightly, I will have to shave the whole thing off.

    I've been through Cisplatin for cervical cancer and you don’t lose your hair. Many women I know said their hair thinned slightly during treatment (mine didn't)  but I don’t know of anyone losing their hair due to this particular chemotherapy and I know lots of women who’ve had it. Please don’t shave  your hair off in anticipation of something that is very unlikely even to be an issue. x
