I had lumpectomy and lymph biopsy April 21st id say its taken a good month to start to feel some sort of normality. Because they move nerves to get to them it can take some time.

I had a total right masectomy in July 2017 ... with lymph nodes taken ... the scar from op wasn't too bad , but it took a long time for my under arm to get back to near normal ... it ached for a long time ... and was quite week .. but was given exercises to gradually make it stronger ... 

It still isn't as strong as before op ... but I can live with that ... so be easy on yourself ... taking lymph nodes are a shock to your body ... so don't rush it ... now wer not supposed to get blood pressure taken on that arm or injections ... so make sure you look after yourself ...
