Hi there,
A very warm welcome to our forum. I am sorry to hear about your swollen lymph nodes and would certainly get them checked out with your GP. Lymph nodes can swell up due to minor infections, so here's hoping that this is all, but you are better getting this checked out for your own peace of mind.
Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.
Kind regards,
Jolamine
Hey Saetta!
I would say that if it causing you anxiety or stress, then it's always best to go and get it checked out.
I had (and still have) a lump on my neck that I was concerned about. Doctors confirmed that it was a lymph node. It caused me no pain or discomfort, but concerned me as it was slightly higher and harder than my other lymph nodes. The doctor referred me to the hospital for an ultrasound scan. I had the scan a couple of weeks later, and they said that there was nothing to be concerned about. The lymph node is still there and causes me no issues, however my mind is now at rest after getting it checked!
Hope everything is okay for you xxxxx
