I had a smear test in May after a long period of heavier than normal bleeding and lower back dull aching... I did not call gp as my smear was 2 years overdue so I just did the smear but I did not receive any results via post and was suddenly called by doctors to ask me to book appointment with a certain doctor to discuss my biopsy results which I was shocked about the appointment is booked for June 16th so 12 days after they asked me to book appointment? Is this normal? Should I be concerned? I am thinking to call doctors tomorrow and say I'm not happy to wait that long and I want any doctor to call me and tell me the results. Why have I not got my smear results by post and all.of a sudden I'm needing phone appointment to discuss my biopsy results? Also I have not got a letter saying I need to see a specialist, will she tell me that over the phone? 

Any help I'm going crazy
