Hey, I am 22 years old and I weigh about 15 stone. I have been eating more healthy and I have lost about a stone so far to try help with the current problem I am having. 

In January 2020 I was ill with a very severe cough for about 2 months before covid was a pandemic as well with the rest of my family been ill with a cough during the same time as me. 

However, during the time I was ill I started to noticed that everytime I was walking to work or just going to the shop etc it felt wet in the rectal area and when I come to wipe the area the toilet paper was covered in bright red blood and this would happen on a daily basis which is really embarrassing for me as I would just walk a short distance and it would happen, it doesn't affect me when I go to the toilet I am perfectly fine but when I start to work it starts to bleed. I didn't go to the doctors until around about the june time when it got really bad and had multiple of appointments with my gp as the medication every time they gave me was not working at all. I would have breaks in between bleeding I think the longest I have gone is 2 weeks but at the moment currently is been happening every day bright red. 

The doctor finally referred me in August's as after blood test and examination they had no clue what was the cause of it as they could not feel any piles etc so I got referred to the hospital to been seen by a specialist and the appointment was in November but got cancelled due to lockdown and I had phone appointment in January of this year finally and I have got to have a flexible sigmoidoscopy to find the problem and the procedure has been cancelled 6 times now and I am really struggling as I was made redundant at the start of the year as we due to covid and I at to make the hard decision not to look for jobs as my mental state is not doing so good with me bleeding all the time I am just really fed up and worried as I am not getting answers I just want to live a normal life and I can't at the moment. I don't know what to do as Im not coping well and my family are supporting me but I just want answers as I just want all this to go away now 

Sorry for going on... does anyone have an ideas what it could be etc as the doc don't think it's piles after I had an examination. What would you suggest I do as I have run out of ideas and options what to do
