Boxing gloves back on

Hi all, I'm new to the forum. I was diagnosed with high grade serous ovarian cancer 2b last May. Had total hysterectomy, including ovaries went straight into menopause then 6 rounds of chemotherapy. Given all clear November. Had a scan last month due to pain, all clear. Saw consultant last week due to bleeding, he tells me the cancer is back. He took a biopsy and I'll get the results in 2 weeks. Also waiting for preventative surgery after finding out this year I'm brca2 xx sorry for long introduction, been quite a journey which is ongoing! Trying to stay away from google, and keep positive as we all do ️

  • A warm welcome to the Cancer Chat community Sunshine although I'm sorry that your cancer has returned. That must have been very tough to hear but fingers crossed the results of your biopsy will bring some good news when they come through.

Hopefully some of our members who have been on this journey will pop by soon to offer their support and advice but if you would like to talk to one of our cancer nurses, you're welcome to give them a call on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.

I hope you don't have to wait too long for your surgery either Sunshine. Our community know how tough this time can be but they are here for you and will do all they can to help.

    Kind regards,
