Hi there
My name is Josie and I was diagnosed with Merkel cell cancer a year ago and had surgeries last June and December with radiotherapy in November and February/March this year.
Mine has unfortunately returned twice since original diagnosis and I'm currently awaiting another scan and biopsy in June.
As others with this cancer will know, it's a rare and aggressive cancer with recurrence rates. Initially I was very positive but with mine recurring so quickly I'm struggling now.
it would be great to talk to others in similar situation.
